ANZSOG
The Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) is a first tier professional school established by a consortium of Australian and New Zealand governments, universities and business schools in 2002. The Queensland Government, Griffith University and University of Queensland are founding members of ANZSOG. OPSC co-ordinates Queensland's involvement in ANZSOG programs.
ANZSOG's teaching programs include the Executive Fellows Program (EFP) and Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) degree program. The school also provides various practitioner workshops and is involved in collaborative research. These courses provide opportunities for national and international learning, networking, collaboration and research in the areas of public policy, public management and public administration.
The Queensland Government offers up to ten Premier's Scholarships each year for the Executive Fellows and Executive Masters programs. Nominations are co-ordinated by OPSC. Applications are available around May each year and close in July.
A program evaluation has been completed and student experiences collected to provide an insight into the benefits of these programs.
