Graduate programs
The Queensland Government's graduate programs have a strong focus on developing leadership and personal capabilities and provide a great stepping-stone for your career.
The Office of the Public Service Commissioner manages a whole-of-government graduate program for motivated and committed graduates across all disciplines. This exciting 18-month program offers a number of permanent positions and is a perfect start to your professional career within the Queensland Public Service.
The program offers each graduate four placements across different agencies on a rotational basis. Each placement over the eighteen-month period will expose you to a range of policy environments and challenges, including strategic policy development, service delivery, and corporate strategy. In addition, the program includes:
- structured training and development activities
- networking with other graduate employees
- ongoing individual evaluation and performance development, and
- learning from others through mentoring programs
Information kits about the program are available in the Resources area.
