Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) for the Queensland public sector is about making sure the workplace is free from all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment, and that people who are members of an EEO target group are able to compete for employment and promotion as effectively as people who are not. The Office of the Public Service Commissioner is responsible for the administration of the Equal Opportunity in Public Employment Act 1992 and ensuring that public sector agencies meet their EEO obligations.
